What is a Ceramic Coating?
Ceramic coating is a liquid polymer that is applied by hand to the exterior of a vehicle. The coating chemically bonds with the vehicle’s factory clear coat or paint creating a Hydrophobic layer of strong protection from the Harsh suns UV rays that will deteriorate a vehicles clear coat and cause the color to fade! Also it protects against dirt, road grime, oxidation, acid rain, bird droppings and other acidic properties. These things that would normally etch into your original clear coat or paint are now sitting on top of the protective layer of Ceramic Coating and does not reach the vehicles original clear coat or paint.
What Ceramic Coating is not!
It is NOT a force field that guarantees your car from getting chips, dings, scratches, swirl marks and even water spots. Again Ceramic coating definitely helps with not getting these things but certain measures still need to be taken to maintain the appearance of its application. Even Super Man has his Kryptonite! Ceramic Coatings Kryptonite is drive through car washes, brushes, and dirty wash mitts and harsh rags can mar the ceramic Coating! So Maintenance is important to keeping it looking it’s best for longer!

Your vehicle is now registered with the company that manufactures the product and now can be put on its car fax and recognized by insurance companies and car dealers! It makes washing and cleaning the vehicle a breeze! Contaminants do not stick like they do to a unprotected vehicle, making them much easier to get off! The hardness of a ceramic coating also helps with minor scratches or swirls developing. And if they do occur they can be polished out without thinning the original clear coat or paint!

Paint Correction
Depending on how good the clear coat appears on the vehicle dictates if there is a need for a simple one step machine paint polish or a multiple step machine Paint Correction.
A One step machine paint polish enhances the appearance of the paint by removing light oxidation and very fine paint imperfections. This may be all you need for a beautiful look!
A Multiple step machine paint correction is needed when the vehicles clear coat has minor scratches, swirl marks and or imperfections that detract from the overall appearance of the vehicle.
The steps normally taken to correct the type of conditions mentioned can vary. Typically it takes a few steps of buffing and polishing with different types of compounds and polishing pads to get these imperfections out and your paint looking beautiful again!
